For applicants outside of Norway there are two different ways to apply for a Norwegian specialisation. There is one form for the applicants from EU/EEA who want to convert their medical or deontological specialisation. Another form is to be used by applicants from 3rd countries, or applicants from EU who do not have a specialisation from an EU/EEA country.
Before you can apply for a specialisation you need a Norwegian authorisation. Please contact The Norwegian Registration Authority for Health Personnel in this regard.
Please read the instruction before you fill in the application form. Make sure the form is signed before you send in your application and that the fee is paid. A receipt of the fee must be enclosed with the application. The application will not be taken under consideration until the fee is paid.
When we receive the application we will send you a confirmation. If the application is incomplete you will be informed. Once the application is complete we will proceed with handling the application.

Receipt of an application will be acknowledged. Should an application be incomplete, the applicant would be informed of it, so that it could be completed and processed without delay.
